Good sized City Centre based Wetherspoons.
If you know what Wetherspoons is all about, then you'll enjoy this pub. Wetherspoons means a great selection of alcohol at a good price, and decent food, served quickly and at low cost.
The staff are friendly and attentive, even at busy times and with a lot of punters. We enjoyed a nice late lunch on a Friday afternoon and a full breakfast on a Saturday morning - both arrived within 5-10 mins of ordering.
Quiet, a good atmosphere, good staff and cheap food and beer. What more could you want? -

It's a high street, city centre Wetherspoons. In your mind, think of what that sentence means to you. It's a fair bet it's exactly like this pub was. It was cheap, busy, and bland. You get what you pay for, I guess. It's not somewhere I would make a beeline for or avoid like the plague - but it's fine. It's just... there.

Golden Glow beer I drank here was below par. It must have been.because it
didn't taste of much at all!
Pub was packed, with smokers blocking the entrance. And Grandma..what an ugly
